Healing Through Sound: Youth Mentorship at Galactic Lion

Galactic Lion’s Youth Mentorship Program supports at-risk youth through the transformative power of music and the arts. Rooted in trauma-informed care, this program uses music and art therapy, creative expression, and trusted mentorship to help young people process difficult experiences, regulate emotions, and rediscover their sense of agency.

Through guided projects and reflection, participants are given a safe space to explore their stories. Music and art become a bridge: helping the nervous system find balance, building emotional resilience, and offering a healthy outlet for expression.

Our mentors meet youth where they are. We focus on connection, consistency, and empowerment and supporting participants as they build confidence, develop coping tools, and reconnect with their own creativity and inner strength.
